- Reading an analogue clock. The hour hand moves with the minutes, so they learn to read "between 3 and 4".
- · Go o'clock → half past → five minutes → to the minute. Jumping straight to the minute is too big a step.
- · Do a few next to a real clock on the wall so it doesn't stay a paper exercise.
