Leave it empty and the lines stay blank to write on. Teachers: put the class name in once and every copy in the batch has it.
In the print dialog, set margins to none and turn on background graphics — then it prints exactly as shown.

- Letter shapes and how they sit on the line. The sheet moves from tracing to writing on the same row.
- · First one is the model, the next few are gray to trace, the rest is theirs. Filling the whole row is not the goal.
- · A softer pencil (2B) is easier for small hands and rubs out cleanly.
- · One row a day is plenty — and the same row three days running beats three different rows.
