Ages 3–10
What it practises
Letter shapes and how they sit on the line. The sheet moves from tracing to writing on the same row.
  • · First one is the model, the next few are grey to trace, the rest is theirs. Filling the whole row is not the goal.
  • · A softer pencil (2B) is easier for small hands and rubs out cleanly.
  • · One row a day is plenty — and the same row three days running beats three different rows.
